Tom Tuna Club's professional private trips use fast 22–24 ft boats with one captain and one assistant, allowing quick movement between offshore areas. Traditional wooden boats, larger yachts and sightseeing boats serve different purposes and may trade speed for space, comfort or a different experience.

How to use it on the water
For a target-focused day, ask about safe range, realistic cruising speed, crew, group capacity and how quickly the boat can change fishing areas. A bigger or more luxurious boat is not automatically a better fishing platform; match the boat to the actual objective.
